About
Shellworks
As Peace Corps volunteers in Solomon Islands we worked on a blacklip pearl oyster farm and were smitten by shellfish and sea life!
Since returning to the East End, Barley runs East Hampton’s Shellfish Hatchery and helped organize South Fork Sea Farmers to promote oyster farming and marine education.
Shellworks is our family operated sea farm in Little Peconic Bay, Southampton. Our Salty Dog oysters are grown in bottom cages and have been called the best tasting oyster on the East End due to their fresh ocean flavor.
Enjoy the merroir of Little Peconic Bay!
